World Mediation Symposium
An impressive assembly of distinguished international speakers will converge at Richland College in Dallas, Texas for a three-day Symposium October 15 – 17, 2015. The speakers will give their expert insights and perspectives concerning mediation as an effectual professional discipline, and to address the topic of “Mediating Global Civility and Public Policy.”
Amidst today’s climate of conflicts and dissensions across the global, a cadre of speakers – mediators, attorneys, public servants, a judge, professors, authors, corporate leaders, and professionals – will offer their respective insights at the 2015 World Mediation Organization’s Symposium by focusing on civility. Their goal is to impart their specialized viewpoints and to expound upon the application of mediation and civility to bridge conflicts – conflicts which arise in government, corporate and education sectors across worldwide.
The World Mediation Organization, a recognized affiliate of the United Nations, has a presence in 45 countries. Dr. Daniel Erdmann, Director-General of the World Mediation Organization, headquartered in Berlin, Germany, is a chief principal of this year’s Symposium in Dallas. Dr. Erdmann has a mediation career which has spanned decades and continents.

The symposium will be divided into three areas/days of focus: Public Policy, Corporate Global Civility, and Community and Educational Global Civility. Attendees will receive 18 hours of CEUs and minimum MCLEs. Cost ranges from $25 (for one session) to $384 (full conference including meals and pre-conference activity).
