Cooperative education is a very unique component of our Management Program. You will earn a total of 12 semester hours toward your associate’s degree from your on-the-job work experience. Here’s how the coop component works:
Each semester you will take one cooperative education class along with one of our core specialized management courses (see the information below for more details). You will earn three credit hours per cooperative course. Each cooperative education course will comprise of the following activities:
- participating in one stimulating and informative management seminar per month, along with other management students and your professor
- completing various seminar-related activities assigned by the professor
- completing a few work-related objectives that have been approved by your professor and your manager
What better way to earn three cooperative education credit hours per semester (for a total of 12) toward your degree than to combine college classroom learning with real-world work experiences!
