Tuition Waiver for Credit Classes Only

If you choose to register yourself online (via eConnect), be sure to email us at and let us know if you are taking reimbursable credit courses. We will be sure to tag your invoice so that you aren’t charged for the courses (6 hours).

Dallas County residents and/or property owners 65 years and older, who have lived in Texas for at least one year may receive a tuition waiver for up to 6 college credit hours per semester. Proof of age and residency is required at the time of registration, and is subject to approval. The Senior Tuition Waiver can be used for classes applying toward a credit Certificate or Associates degree, but the student is subject to standard admissions requirements (provide all former college transcripts or complete the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) College Admissions testing in reading, writing, math, and computer skills.

Credit, Non-Credit Class Registration for all Emeritus Students

Register for credit and non-credit classes with the Emeritus plus 50 program online via eConnect. For more information or assistance call 972-238-6972 or visit us in Thunderduck Hall, Suite T160 in the Continuing Education Office.

Refund of 100% will be made if requested prior to the first class meeting day.

Class Schedule Information

M = Monday; T = Tuesday; W = Wednesday; R = Thursday; F = Friday; S = Saturday.
TR means classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday. If a room is listed as TBA, you will be called with the classroom information prior to the start of the class. Classroom R019 is located in the LeCroy Center across from the main Richland campus on Richland Drive East off of Walnut Drive.
