Richland College Allied Health Programs provide students with quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare education and training to produce job-ready individuals who fulfill the needs of healthcare employers and the community.
Richland College offers a variety of healthcare certificate programs. Students may attend part-time or full-time, days or evenings, and pay as they go. All these programs may be completed in one year or less. Some require that students have a high school diploma or GED. Proficiency in written and spoken English, math, basic computer and Microsoft skills are also important. Some programs require a criminal background check and drug screening.
Medical Programs are continuous enrollment, with entry classes approximately starting every 4-6 weeks. The Pharmacy Technician Programs begin at the start of each semester. Medication Aide Renewal courses and CPR courses are scheduled once a month, throughout the semester. Click here to view the current schedule (under the Continuing Education/Workforce Education heading).
Students are strongly encouraged to attend one of our information sessions before meeting with a program coordinator. We can serve you better, answer all of your questions, and expedite your admission and registration if you first view or attend a group meeting.
